"It's like Shrek but underwater!"

    There are so many lessons that come out of this movie, its a must see for the whole family!  I've read the reviews from others and they thought this movie is REALLY racist...not the case.  It does have a hint of racism but I doubt the kids will even know whats going on *laughs*.  Anyways, this movie is about a fish named Oscar who want to live a rich and popular life.  Oscar was at the scene when a shark was killed and lied saying that he killed it.  Everyone in the underwater city was wowed by 'Oscar the Shark Killer.'  The conflict is that the shark that was killed as the Godfather shark's son.  Revenge?  Yeah.  That's all I'm going to say about that (I don't want to give you too many spoilers).  Now onto what I thought of the movie.  The movie is great, but there was some flaws (maybe thats why the critics hated it).  But the flaws are very minor and don't really impact the movie, so don't worry.  I liked the fact that most of the music are old classics redone by todays hit stars.  The comedy side balances out for the adults and the kids, so like I said, its fun for the whole family!  The characters in the movie were enjoyable, I esspecialy liked Oscar (Which is good because...well...he IS the main character *laughs*).  Although this isn't as good as Shrek, its still right behind it!

"Hmm....locked up in a cage with a bunch of zombies and mutated monsters.....Time To Kiss Ass!"

     Pretty much the basics of this movie is, girl with supernatural power, monster named nemesis, zombies, guns, game references, and survival of the fittest...  Sounds interesting huh?  I know it may hurt, but watch Resident Evil (the first movie) because the second movie starts off after the first one.  Anyways, the synopsis of this movie is that the town of Raccoon City has been infected with a virus called the T-Virus.  The town has been locked in its borders so no one can escape.  Hmm....locked up in a cage with a bunch of zombies and mutated monsters.....Time To Kiss Ass!  Resident Evil : Apocalypse is a million times better then the first (not something you hear a lot but its true!  The Sequel beat The Original!)!  This movie met my expectations because the movie had a lot of game references in it (and I've played all the Resident Evil games).  The movie doesn't really only focus on the gamers, but also for the action lovers.  The only problem with it is the corny and unrealistic scenes through out the picture.  But overall, this is a must see!  If you have played the Resident Evil games, get up off the couch and go watch the movie, NOW!  And also look for which scenes go to which game (Important:  It's not focused just on the Resident Evil 2 game!).   If you are action lover, just enjoy yourself.  Oh, and surprisingly there is some pretty funny comedy in it, so look forward to that!
